LDS Contradictions on Where You’ll Spend Eternity

25 March

Mormon Doctrine, p. 211; “…CREATION… CELESTIAL EARTH. — Following the millennium plus “a little season” (D. & C. 29:22-25), the earth will die, be resurrected and become like a “sea of glass” (D. & C. 130:7), attain unto “its sanctified, immortal, and eternal state.” (D. & C. 77:1-2.) Then the poor and the meek — that is, the god-fearing and the righteous — shall inherit the earth; it will become an abiding place for the Father and the Son and celestial beings will possess it forever and ever. (D. & C. 88:14-26, 111.)” – Bruce R. McConkie

John 14:2; “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

You’ll find numerous contradictions in LDS doctrines on the subject of where heaven is located, and who goes where, when.

Today we have a couple of questions stemming from Mr. McConkie’s summation of what Mormons should expect.

1.If everyone gets their own planet, why is the Mormon god and Jesus living on earth together with everyone else?

2.Where in the Bible does it say the earth will be resurrected?

The next time you have the opportunity to speak with the Mormon you know, ask for their opinion on what they envision heaven will be like. Show with demonstrative evidence what God says about these things!

With Love in Christ;
