Joe Smith’s Blunder: One Sentence, Two Lies in 2nd Nephi

04 May

2 Nephi 33:10 “…if ye believe in Christ, ye shall believe in these words…” – c. BC 559–545

2 Timothy 3:15 “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures,  which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”

Our LDS reference above is one of the excerpts from the Church’s index of their Triple Combination. It goes without saying the rest of that verse is filled with redundant verbiage designed to lull its reader to sleep. See article on Mark Twain who said, the Book of Mormon is chloroform in print!

It also goes without saying, the words of Nephi are a lie.

They’re a lie because it’s another anachronism in a long list of others found in the Book of Mormon. It’s also another lie because many do believe in Christ, and reject Joe Smith’s false gospel.

2nd Nephi reveals Joe Smith for what he was — a false prophet peddling a counterfeit gospel. It’s heartbreaking to think so many have fallen for the wily ways of this man, while still others are marketing the same lies.

Please, pray for those like my mother who are deeply deceived!

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
