Introducing Terri Hatch

19 September

A few days ago I had the blessing of receiving an e-mail from a brand new ex-Mormon Christian!  Thank You Jesus!

I immediately read how in love with the Lord Terri and her husband Quenton is with Jesus and how they could go about volunteering for us here at LAM and begin working in ministry.  PTL!!

Well it didn’t take long for them to jump right in and get going. After giving them a few pointers on what they could do they immediately put an ad in their ads like Craig’s List in Canada to announce they were holding support meetings for ex-Mormons. They were flooded with e-mails and an invite to speak at a local church.

Today I received her testimony (Quenton’s working on getting his completed) and an intro that I asked her send me so I could introduce them to everyone!  So here she is and again I just can’t thank Jesus enough – isn’t He just awesome???

One more thing – this young family has four children and live in a small town so you know what that means.  They’ll need you to hit your knees!

With Love in Christ;

Michelle

Hello! I am Terri Hatch. I was a convert to the church at the age of 18. A year later I met my hubby Quenton, and we were married in the Cardston Temple December 22, 1999. Since we have had 4 children and are currently living in Northern Alberta.  Quenton runs a small business here and we love small town life.

A few years ago we came to a crisis in our faith. That crisis caused us to look at the church from a new viewpoint-one that didn’t assume it was God’s church but looked to prove that it was. Much to our shock and surprise, we came to the conclusion that the proof that it all was a fraud far outweighed anything to the contrary that we could come up with.

We left the church in 2010 because we began to believe Jesus when He said that He alone was the way, the truth and the life. We have learned a lot in the last 3 years and recently God has made it clear to us that He wants us to use our experience with Mormonism to His glory.

Currently we are trying to form a support group for Mormons of all colours to come together and discuss their questions that are taboo church topics.  We want this to be a safe and accepting place to talk and be honest about what is really on their heart.

If you are a doubting Mormon in Northern Alberta, we would love to talk to you. You can contact us at terrihatch@hotmail.com
