HERESIES STILL PLAGUE NEW BUT INIMPROVED LDS MANUAL

15 November

Today we’re looking at the introduction of the new LDS teaching manual; ‘Come Follow Me’. As you’ll see the only real change they made was putting a shiny new bow on the same false gospel they deliver.

In essence, the Church has re-gifted their ungodliness to the people who trusts them with their very souls.

Come Follow Me for Individuals and Families New Testament 2019 “Conversion is Our Goal — The aim of all gospel learning and teaching is to deepen our conversion and help us become more like Jesus Christ. For this reason, when we study the gospel, we’re not just looking for new information; we want to become a “new creature” (see 2 Corinthians 5:17). This means relying on Christ to change our hearts, our views, our actions, and our very natures.”

In order to do this the Church needs to change the god they’re worshiping, otherwise the new creatures they’ll become is nothing but a remix of what they already believe.

“But the kind of gospel learning that strengthens our faith and leads to the miraculous change of conversion doesn’t happen all at once. It extends beyond a classroom into an individual’s heart and home. It requires consistent, daily efforts to understand and live the gospel. True conversion requires the influence of the Holy Ghost.”

1.True conversion happens instantaneously when we accept the Jesus of the Bible into our hearts.

2.As we walk with the Lord in truth, our lives do in fact change because God’s Holy Spirit has taken up residence inside of our hearts.

“The Holy Ghost guides us to the truth and bears witness of that truth (see John 16:13). He enlightens our minds, quickens our understanding, and touches our hearts with revelation from God, the source of all truth. The Holy Ghost purifies our hearts. He inspires in us a desire to live by truth, and He whispers to us ways to do this. Truly, “the Holy Ghost … shall teach [us] all things” (John 14:26).”

It’s shocking the Church is using biblical scripture as their resource.

We’re wondering if they’ve had a sudden change of heart regarding its trustworthiness. If so, they’ll have to ditch their 8th Article of Faith declaring God’s word is corrupt.

“For these reasons, in our efforts to live, learn, and teach the gospel, we should first and foremost seek the companionship of the Spirit. This goal should govern our choices and guide our thoughts and actions.”

Again, another LDS doctrine will need to be denounced. Their canon says the Mormon Holy Ghost isn’t God, and he can get up and leave whenever he (it) chooses to do so.

Jesus told us we’d have the Spirit of Truth which is God’s Holy Spirit, who will never leave  us. John 14:16

D&C 130:22-23 “The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s; the Son also; but the Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of Spirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not dwell in us. 23 A man may receive the Holy Ghost, and it may descend upon him and not tarry with him.”

“We should seek after whatever invites the influence of the Spirit and reject whatever drives that influence away—for we know that if we can be worthy of the presence of the Holy Ghost, we can also be worthy to live in the presence of Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.”

And there it is – the truth of who they worship can clearly be seen in the final sentence of this lesson in their brand new teaching manual.

‘Whatever invites the influence of the Spirit…’

That is NOT in the vocabulary of a true believer my friends. And neither is, ‘if we can be worthy of the presence of the Holy Ghost’. True Christians don’t speak this way because it isn’t biblically sound!

No one is worthy – thus the need for Jesus!

When you accept Jesus as God and your Savior, God’s Holy Spirit comes to reside inside your heart, and then we’ll be worthy to be in heaven in the presence of God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Be sure to ask the Mormon you know about these things!

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
