“…our girls are in these years are placed in the same schools and given the same tasks that boys are, with little or no physical exercise. And what is the consequence? Simply this: That the reproductive organs are dwarfed and deprived of their natural strength, and in many instances the girl is deprived of that holiest, grandest gift of God unto His daughters, the crown of motherhood.” – Oliver B. 2 Timothy 3:13-14; “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them”.

The LDS narrative above was extracted from the Young Women’s Journal, a portal for sermons and lessons used in the female youth groups ‘back in the day’.

Today’s submission was part of an essay for lessons on puberty, and how a young female should take care of herself. The actual sermon/lesson is quite lengthy and filled with admonitions to both mothers and daughters, on how they’re to take care of themselves in preparation to inherit goddess status.

In that scenario, thoughts keep going back to the nativity. This is where we come upon a scene where human words inadequately describe how the God of Everything personally put on human flesh so the people He created could know Him personally. In the 42 generations that had passed since the days of Abraham, our Creator wanted a one-on-one relationship with His people.  Because of our frailties, He donned human flesh.

And even after all that, there were still some who rejected their position as the creature by pretending they held the right to be just as He is: God.

Narratives from LDS doctrines are rife with blasphemous tales of what we must do to inherit salvation, and ultimatey, eternal life with God. They’ve fluffed up exalted projections of who they think they are by dragging God down to their own level, if not lower.

The god of Mormonism has been revealed. He’s a remake of the era of Ashtoreth worship way back in Israel’s history. See article ‘Asherah and the Asherim: Goddess or Cult Symbol?’ for more info. The main school of thought in this scenario is that this god’s world, and his subject matters revolves around one thing, and one thing only: sex.

The God of the Bible donned human flesh out of selfless love and desire to have a close relationship with those He created. He is everything Holy and Just, and Mormonism has made Him into everything but.

The ‘crown of motherhood’ is just another way to say goddess. Don’t get me wrong, I love being a mom! It’s a blessing, and something I thank Him for each and every day. However, a believer’s crown at the end is that of righteousness we’ll be given because of the blood of Jesus Christ.

The Bible tells us there are five crowns we can look forward to in the future –

1. Crown of Righteousness (2 Timothy 4:8)2. Crown of Victory (1 Corinthians 9:25-27)3. Crown of Life (a.k.a. the Martyr’s Crown – James 1:12; Revelation 2:10)

   4. Crown of Glory (1 Peter 5:2-4; Matthew 5:19)

   5. Crown of Rejoicing (a.k.a. the Soul-winner’s crown, leading others to accept Christ by sharing the Gospel of repentance and salvation (1 Thessalonians 2:19; Daniel 12:3; Proverbs 11:30)

His word also warns us not to lose our crown! At the end because Jesus is the ultimate King of Glory, worthy of our only worship, we’ll have the joy of casting our crowns at His feet! Revelation 4:10-11!
