False Prophecy of Mormonism; Salvation Through Joseph Smith

salt-lake-mormon-temple-2Journal of Discourses 23:361-362; “Because he was the head God chose him, and while he was faithful no man could take his place and position. He was faithful, and died faithful. He stands therefore at the head of this dispensation, and will throughout all eternity, and no man can take that power away from him. If any man holds these keys, he holds them subordinate to him. … If we get our salvation we shall have to pass by him; if we enter into our glory it will be through the authority that he has received. We cannot get around him … If we enter into our exaltation, it will be because they, as the servants of God, permit us to pass by, just as the revelation says, ‘pass by the angels and the Gods, which are set there,’ to our exaltation.” – George Q. Cannon, Salt Lake City, October 29, 1882

Acts 4:12; “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

Acts 17:31; “Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”

Romans 5:8, 17, 19; “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”

As you can see, we’ve only listed 5 biblical verses telling us there is salvation in no one else but Christ. Overall, there are no less than 565 occurrences in the New Testament where it specifically states there is no salvation outside of Jesus Christ.

To claim Smith is the door to salvation is nothing but high blasphemy my friend. One has to wonder what Jesus thinks of the statement if any other man holds the keys, they are subordinate to Joseph. … I wonder if they’d dare say such a thing to the Lord in person. May God have mercy on those who believe the lies and that He protects anyone who might entertain the notion these are godly men.
