False Prophecies & Teachings of the Mormon Church

19 September

What is a true conversion?

The dictionary defines conversion this way; “the act or process of converting; state of being converted, change in character, form, or function. The spiritual change from sinfulness to righteousness, change from one religion, political belief, viewpoint, etc, to another.”

So what have you converted to when you believe in Jesus? Is it Christianity or did you convert to a man-made religion known as Mormonism?

Follow the Living Prophets, pg. 4;

Now I want to impress this upon you. Someone has said it this way, and I believe it to be absolutely true: “That person is not truly converted until he sees the power of God resting upon the leaders of this church, and until it goes down into his heart like fire.” Until the members of this church have that conviction that they are being led in the right way, and they have a conviction that these men of God are men who are inspired and have been properly appointed by the hand of God, they are not truly converted.” – Brent L. Top, Larry E. Dahl, Walter D. Bowen, 1993

Again, what have you converted to?  Following men or following God?

John 14:6 is clear. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
