Facebook and Anti-Mormons

On Wednesday I was notified by a fellow Christian about a new Facebook page listing Christian ministries that are considered “anti-Mormons” to members of the LDS Church.

The purpose of the FB page serves as a warning for fellow members of Mormonism that visiting other FB pages or websites of these supposed “anti-Mormons” could be detrimental to their spiritual walk.

Isn’t it odd that just this week I asked the question if Christians are anti-Mormon would that mean Mormons are anti-Christian?

For me the new FB page means a few things:

It’s free advertising and although you have to scroll down a ways before you see us, we’re still there!  PTL!

It’s another FB location for Christian ministries to engage in dialogue with active Mormons, aka WITNESS!!!  God always provides.  🙂

It serves as another public disclosure for Mormon to openly play the martyr.

It shows the public how Mormons are not in full agreement with the body of Christ. They’ve set themselves apart from Christianity.

It’s a display of how people don’t want to accept there’s a difference between hating someone and not agreeing with them

Ironically in their warning to people not to read the message of the enemy, they’ve opened the door for Mormons to privately hear Jesus’ message of love and salvation for them.  So go on over and have a look-see for yourself!  It’s an eye-opening experience!

The more I read your posts, the more I wonder if you are capable of cognitive, logical thought. To say that this Facebook page, “…shows the public how Mormons are not in full agreement with the body of Christ. They’ve set themselves apart from Christianity.” is misrepresentative of the stated purpose of the page. It defines anti-Mormon as anyone who “attack[s] the Church in a way intended to generate misunderstanding, fear, and shock are the ones who deserve the epithet of ‘anti-Mormons.’ Many such ‘Mormon bashers’ feel that the end justifies the means, and use tactics that are incompatible with the truthful example…” In this, regarding your site, my experience has shown them to be accurate in listing you as anti-Mormon.

Shane, I think this is a clear case of the pot calling the kettle black. I’ve read through some of your other posts and you don’t seem to understand simple points being made in the dialogues. Being listed on this page with other well known and accepted Christian Ministries is another indication that Mormonism does not agree with basic Christian doctrine. It may not be the stated purpose of the page, but it does provide that insight. I don’t think she said it was the stated or intended purpose; it’s just an added bonus. From what I have read of your comments, you have missed who the non-logical thinker is.
