Enslaved to Mormonism: Hiding Guilty Evidence of Occult Behavior

2 Corinthians 6:17 “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,”

Church Handbook, pp. 78-79

Disposing of Garments and Temple Clothing

To dispose of worn-out temple garments, members should cut out and destroy the marks.

Members then cut up the remaining fabric so it cannot be identified as a garment. Once the marks are removed, the fabric is not considered sacred. To dispose of worn-out temple clothing, members should burn it or alter it so the original use cannot be recognized.

Members may give garments and temple clothing that are in good condition to other worthy endowed members. The bishop can help identify those who might need such clothing.

Under no circumstances should members give garments or temple clothing to Deseret Industries, bishops’ storehouses, or charities.”

There is nothing that’ll bring me to my knees quicker than coming across the topic we have here today. My heart is grief stricken just thinking of the entrapment Mormons have fallen into by the blind obedience to their leaders.

Regardless of what the LDS hierarchy says, going through the extreme steps listed below is NOT holy. In fact, it’s anything but holy!

The closest thing in the Bible resembling such an act is when Adam and Eve hid from God and made themselves fig leaf aprons to cover their guilty sin. Genesis 3:7

I saw firsthand how detrimental this is years ago. After giving a presentation at a church, a young woman approached with a look on her face I’ll never forget. She told me she had accepted the Lord a week prior, (PTL!), however she didn’t dare remove her temple garments. My heart melted with sadness for the prison she was still in as a result of this lie!

I led her to the women’s bathroom and waited while she handed me her garments. When she emerged from the restroom stall, she had a look of apprehensive relief on her poor face. We prayed for a long while for her to be set free.

The next day at my hotel room there was a knock on the door, and it was the same woman with even more garments! She didn’t know what to do, so I took them, and threw them in the trash.

Beloved,  you aren’t chained to clothing. The only tie you should have is your commitment to Christ Jesus and Him crucified! Being obligated to a piece of cloth is a lie from hell that only the likes of Satan would want for you to observe!

As Paul said to the Corinthians – ‘Come out from among them’!

Don’t forget to pray for those who feel bound to this lawless lie!

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
