Civil War won’t End Until Earth Drenched in Blood

Journal of Discourses 10:15 “Who can stay this war that is devastating the whole nation both North and South? No human hand; it is out of the power of man, excepting by the repentance of the whole nation, for they have shed the blood of the Prophets, driven this Church and people from their midst, yes, the very people that hold the keys of salvation for the world they have banished from their midst, they have turned those keys that will seal their condemnation, and for this the Lord our God has taken peace out of their midst. Will there ever be any more peace among them? No, not until the earth is drenched with the blood of the inhabitants thereof.” – Wilford Woodruff, Great Salt Lake, July 27, 1862

Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”

1.The Civil War ended in the spring of 1865, and the earth wasn’t drenched in blood which makes this a false prophecy.

2.As we all know, the Civil War came about to end slavery.

3.The Civil War wasn’t a result of the LDS Church being kicked out of Illinois! The Church left Illinois in 1846-1847. Hence, the ‘Days of ’47’ the state of Utah celebrates every year. The Civil War began on April 12, 1861.

False teachings/prophecies like this one still plague the LDS Church today so be sure to share the truth with the Mormon you know and ask for their opinion about this one.

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
