Churches; Two Churches Only on Face of Earth – Mormon Quotes

George Q. Cannon, Gospel Truth, pg. 324; After the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was organized, there were only two churches upon the earth. They were known respectively as the Church of the Lamb of God and Babylon. The various organizations which are called churches throughout Christendom, though differing in their creeds and organizations, have one common origin. They all belong to Babylon.

Mark 13:13And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

With all the material we have to quote each prophet and teacher in Mormonism about this subject matter proves one thing: their hatred and disdain towards outsiders.

Mormons through time seem to have a pretty positive opinion of others for people who hate everyone else.

Out of curiosity I clicked on the 1000+ reasons, chose a random letter, and picked the first reason my mouse came to rest on. This is the one I found.

Come on. Saying that other people are misguided or deceived is hate speech? Sure, if you carefully snip out statements I’m sure you can build a book of statements in which LDS leaders have spoken negatively about others. But you’d have to ignore books and books worth of statements to the contrary in order to come away with the conclusion that Mormons inherently hate outsiders.

If simply stating that differing views are incorrect is evidence of disdain, then right here on this website you have provided us with 1000+ direct pieces of evidence to prove your hatred of Mormons. Is that supposed to be the takeaway?

I’m hoping it’s not. I’m hoping you’re just trying to point out that Mormons are wrong. So why is hateful when Mormons do that to others, but not when you do it to them?

    This is silly.
