Book of Mormon Jesus Resurrected in 148 BC?!

25 February

Mosiah 16:7; “And if Christ had not risen from the dead, or have broken the bands of death that the grave should have no victory, and that death should have no sting, there could have been no resurrection.” – 148 BC

Isaiah 25:8; “He will swallow up death in victory; And the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; And the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: For the Lord hath spoken it.”

1 Corinthians 15:54-55“So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”

This Mormon verse is just sad.

Mormons don’t believe Jesus had lived, died and was resurrected in BC148.

Imagine being a Mormon and coming across the verse in Mosiah.

Where are they to find the hope death has no sting if it’s not a reality for them today?

If Joe Smith was a true prophet of the true biblical God, why is this verse in a supposed inspired canon?

Pray for Jesus to open the eyes of the dear Mormon people who read and believe this!

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
