Blind Obedience – Mormon Quotes

Conference Report, Oct. 1960, Marion Romney, pg, 78; My boy, you always keep your eye on the President of the Church, and if he ever tells you to do anything, and it is wrong, and you do it, the Lord will bless you for it.” Then with a twinkle in his eye, he said, “But you don’t need to worry. The Lord will never let his mouthpiece lead the people astray.”

2 Peter 1:10Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.

July 1972 Ensign, pg. 87, Joseph Fielding Smith; Now, brethren, I think there is one thing which we should have exceedingly clear in our minds. Prov. 27:17Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
